De provincie Sassari is een provincie in de autonome eilandregio Sardinië in Italië. De hoofdstad is de stad Sassari. In 2017 had de provincie een bevolking van 493.357 inwoners. Er zijn 92 gemeenten (comuni) in de provincie, de grootste zijn Sassari, Olbia, Alghero, Porto Torres, Tempio Pausania, Sorso, Ozieri, Ittiri en Sennori. Een andere opmerkelijke stad, Pattada, staat vooral bekend om zijn handgemaakte messen.
